MUDS is committed to the continuation and improvement of the debating circuit in Australia as well as having money to subsidise our members to attend tournaments.
As such MUDS hosts a range of schools days for high school students - typically in February, July, September, and November.

MUDS hosts a number of tournaments and training days targeted at debaters attending high school; MUDS supports local primary schools by organising and adjudication the Ryde Rotary Debating competition each year as well as facilitating access to high-quality coaches for schools.

These one-day events are split into Junior (Year 7-8), Intermediate (Year 9-10) and Senior (Year 11-12) Divisions to ensure that topics and feedback can be pitched to meet experience levels

Students will receive quality feedback from adjudicators and mentors, all of whom debate regularly in university tournaments, compete at both national and international intervarsity tournaments and have extensive experience adjudicating high school tournaments such as GPS, ISDA, Archdale, FED, CAS, PDC and SDN

We invite all schools regardless of debating experience, to participate in our tournaments. If you would like to be added to our contact list so you can be invited to our next Schools event, please contact our Schools Coordinators at schools@mqdebating.com.au
